Evento foi histórico e trouxe recordes de Viola Davis e Beyoncé
A 65ª edição do Grammy aconteceu neste domingo (5) e nós da CAPRICHO acompanhamos bem de pertinho tudo o que está rolando – desde o red carpet até as principais categorias. A principal notícia da noite é que Beyoncé se tornou a artista a receber mais Grammys da história. É isso mesmo: nós assistimos a um feito histórico.
Ela levou quatro prêmios só nesta edição e, somando todos, acumula 32 gramofones em casa. Neste domingo, ela venceu as categorias de gravação dance/eletrônica, com “Break my soul”; performance r&b tradicional, com “Plastic off the sofa”; melhor canção r&b, com “Cuff it” e melhor álbum de dance/música eletrônica. Com isso, ela desempata e ultrapassa o maestro húngaro Solti – que só tem 31 gramofones (imagina só essa prateleira dentro de casa, gente?).
Harry Styles levou o primeiro prêmio da noite, ele venceu na categoria de Melhor Álbum Pop e, ao final da noite, levou o prêmio de Álbum do Ano. Rosalía levou o prêmio na categoria de Melhor álbum de rock latino ou alternativo e Viola Davis se tornou uma recordista ao levar mais um troféu para casa, dessa vez pela locução feita no audiobook de “Em Busca de Mim”, seu livro de memórias.

Ah, a nossa Anitta era uma promessa na categoria de “Artista Revelação”, mas não levou o gramofone para casa. A cantora de jazz norte-americana Samara Joy foi a escolhida para o prêmio. Há 50 anos o Brasil não era indicado à premiação. O país já esteve na disputa outras quatro vezes com Astrud Gilberto e Tom Jobim, em 1965, Eumir Deodato, em 1974, e Morris Albert, em 1976.
