Elenco de Girl Meets World se despede após a série ser cancelada

O último episódio da série do Disney Channel vai ao ar este mês

Se você é daquelas que não perde nenhuma tarde assistindo ao Disney Channel, temos uma péssima notícia para você. A série Girl Meets World foi oficialmente cancelada.

Depois de três temporadas, o último episódio da série irá ao ar em 20 de janeiro, nos Estados Unidos. Intitulado de Girl Meets Goodbye (algo como “garota diz adeus”, em português), o programa vai mostrar a família Matthew tomando uma importante decisão em sua vida.

A atriz Rowan Blanchard, a Riley, publicou um texto superfofo em seu Instagram, agradecendo os fãs e a equipe por todos os momentos inesquecíveis. “Estar em Girl Meets World foi a coisa mais significante que aconteceu na minha vida até agora (…) Foi com esse elenco que considero uma família que eu vivi momentos de dor, coração partido e muitas alegrias”, escreveu.

Em outro trecho, ela disse: “Estou chorando enquanto escrevo isso porque, sim, nós fizemos uma série, mas nossas vidas viraram um filme. A gente se vestiu como o pessoal do (filme) Clube dos Cinco, nos escondemos embaixo da escada para falar sobre nossos crushes, choramos juntos quando vivemos a morte da nossa professora (Kate Edwards, que dava aulas ao elenco nos momentos de folga, foi atropelada por um homem bêbado em 2015). Essas são coisas que você nunca esquece”, completou.

Sabrina Carpenter, que interpreta a Maya na série, também se manifestou. “Nós falamos a língua do amor, do coração partido, da amizade, da família, das tristezas e das risadas. Não importa onde você esteja no mundo, ou no que você acredite, ou quem você ame, todos nós falamos essa língua”, escreveu. “A todos que decidiram dar uma chance a nossa história, muito obrigada. Para todas as garotas que estão lendo isso, você pode fazer o que vier na sua cabeça. Você vai conhecer o mundo agora, e eu acho que você vai amar”, completou.

The last time I had in n out burger and didn't eat it, I had just been cast in a show called girl meets world! Tonight I sit here and I can't eat my in n out burger because life comes full circle. We speak in the language of love, heartbreak, friendship, family, sadness, and laughter. Wherever we are in the world, whatever we believe in, whoever we love, we all speak that language. We had the privilege of growing up in front of your eyes. The privilege of teaching the lessons we were learning ourselves and beyond that.
